Pile Cage Machine
1. High Automation & Precision: PLC + frequency control ensures accurate spiral pitch, synchronized winding, and stable cage roundness with minimal deviation.
2. 3–4× Higher Production Efficiency: Automatic welding and winding greatly improve output while requiring only 2–3 operators, reducing labor costs and project time.
3. Stable Quality & Wide Compatibility: Supports Ø12–50 mm main bars with adjustable spacing, delivering uniform weld quality for various piling cage specifications.
The Pile Cage Machine is a CNC-controlled device specially designed for winding spiral reinforcement around the exterior of rebar cages. In conventional construction, workers manually weld the longitudinal bars and internal stiffening rings to form the basic cage framework. The semi-finished cage is then placed onto the Pile Cage Machine to complete the spiral winding process.
After being equipped with a PLC control cabinet, the Pile Cage Machine can achieve automated control, making operation simpler and more efficient while significantly improving productivity. However, the following precautions must be observed during operation:
Operating Precautions
1. If any abnormal condition occurs during operation, the machine must be stopped immediately to identify and eliminate the cause of the fault before restarting welding.
2. When changing specifications and adjusting the slider position, ensure that all bolts are securely tightened to prevent the slider from detaching during welding and causing accidents.
3. Before powering on the equipment, confirm that all personnel are clear of the machine (including the spiral bar feeding system). Crossing over the spiral bar is strictly prohibited to avoid danger.
4. During maintenance or adjustment (including travel switches and proximity switches), all power sources must be completely disconnected before any work is carried out. Adjustments under live electrical conditions are strictly forbidden.
The PLC control system enables full automation of the Pile Cage Machine. By adopting PLC and variable frequency drive (VFD) control technology, spiral winding accuracy is significantly improved. Both spiral bars and longitudinal bars can be processed simultaneously in dual-bar mode. The automatic feeding system uses intelligent control, making the production of large-diameter rebar cages easier and more efficient.
With years of technological development and practical improvement, the CNC Pile Cage Machine has become an essential piece of equipment in the rebar processing industry. Its stable quality and high operating speed have led to widespread adoption across multiple industries.
Key Advantages of the CNC Pile Cage Machine
1. High Level of Automation
The fully automatic system adopts computer numerical control and PLC-based control technology. Both rotation speed and travel speed are infinitely adjustable for precise operation.
2. Fast Welding Speed
Equipped with an automatic welding mechanism, production efficiency is 3–4 times higher than traditional manual processing, effectively shortening construction timelines.
3. Stable and Consistent Cage Quality
Reliable weld quality, accurate longitudinal bar distribution, and uniform spiral spacing provide strong consistency and facilitate fast cage assembly and connection.
4. Reduced Labor Intensity
Only 2–3 operators are required to manage the entire system. The advantages are particularly evident when producing large-diameter rebar cages.
5. Simple and User-Friendly Operation
Ordinary workers can operate the machine after basic training, reducing skill dependency.
6. Strong Adaptability
Suitable for welding rebar cages with longitudinal bar diameters ranging from 12 mm to 50 mm. Spiral spacing can be automatically adjusted to produce cages of various diameters, sizes, specifications, and lengths for different industry applications.
